PREAMBLE

We the people of The Labhu League, in Order to form a perfect Fantasy Football League, establish justice, insure fair play, promote sportsmanship and secure blessing of liberty to ourself and our great-great-grandchildren, hereby establish thisConstitution of The Labhu League.

ARTICLES

PART I : Belief of the Labhu League

1. It will follow rules decided and voted on by League members.
   
2. The league design shall give every team a reasonable chance to contend for the title each year.
   
3. Every team owner is a vital part of this process and is essential to the success of the league.
   
4. Everyone believes in fair play and immense amount of fun
   
5. Language and tactics used in Labhu League should be only kept in there and not be taken literally or personally.
   
6. We believe that rookies should be properly abused and made strong before giving them the slot of 10th place so that they can have the courage and capacity to finish the season stronger.
   

PART II : Ethos of Participants

1. The participating player are required to be fully engaged in the League short messaging (whatsapp) group. The low level of engagement can be a reason of elimination.
   
2. Abuse your opponents as much as possible.
   
3. All players should be active in process of decision and voting.
   
4. Genuine voting is expected all the time.
   
5. All participants will contribute for both the trophies.
   

PART III : Fair Play Rules

1. Protection of the League Rules
   1. Players should be aware of the rules set on the Labhu League webpage, a day before the draft day. No complications should rise due to ignorance of a player towards the rules.
      
   2. The commissioner is responsible of acknowledging all players before any change in rules once the League season is started.
      
   3. Any change in pre-season rules requires confirmation by the majority of the League members. The rules of selecting
      
2. A player should not do weekly trades, only fair trades allowed based on players voting.
   
3. A player should not deliberately rest his/her players to favor someone in a game. The ethos of the league should be maintain all the time.
   
4. A players should not  engage in process of forming closed interest groups in the League. Please refer to Part VII.
   
5. A player should not get help from other expert players from other league to draft good players in his/her team.
   
6. A player should not let anyone else handle or select his/her team. A player can’t even have a spouse or other member select their weekly team or drafts.
   
7. In any case, a player should have all 10 active players on roster for any game excluding players with ‘out’, ‘IR’ and ‘Bye’ status.

PART IV : Winner Selection and Post-Season Ceremonies

1. Top 6 players of at end of the regular season will play for the
2. Winner gets to chose the engraving on the trophy
3. Commissioner with everyone else should come up with a respectable winners award ceremony
4. Winner of the group gets to chose the dildo trophy for the 10th standing in the Pre-playoffs league
5. Winner also has the right to decide how and where the trophy should remain in the last standing person’s home and loser should respect that for 1 whole year until the next season commence
6. The player standing at the last position (Pre-playoffs) will be automatically eliminated from the current league. The Lastly eliminated player can apply again for the next season, where he will be considered as a regular Rookie candidate without any privileges.
7. In case of Tie at the elimination position, these criteria should be followed to solve the tie.
8. If the win and loss ratio is same for last two players, default ESPN/Yahoo League standards to eliminated player will be considered.
9. Even after previous conditions, the tie exists, both players will be eliminated making space for two Rookies next season.

PART V : Elimination of a member

1. A player gets automatically eliminated from the league when is stands at the last position at the end of the season.
   
2. A player, caught breaking Fair play rules, gets eliminated after consideration of the League any time during the regular season.
   
3. A player not involved in voting, discussion in meetings or at messaging group.
   
4. A Player who resigns or deletes his team our of emotions, will be banned for lifetime from the Labhu League.

PART VI : Selecting a new members (Rookies)

1. All the interested parties (rookies) would be added to the group
   
2. They would fill out the Form 247A to put in an official application. It should include,
   1. Name
      
   2. 250 words for “State of Purpose”.
      
   3. Declaration signing that
      1. Someone else beside the player will not arrange or select team.
         
      2. He/She will follow the rules stated in the constitution.
         
      3. Their spouse will not play in place of them.
         
3. They would have to agree all the terms and conditions in the form as well as read and initial the constitution
   
4. The Existing player should spend a week on reviewing the Rookie application before appearing for voting process.
   
5. Their inclusion will be decided at the end of the evaluation period on the basis of a non-biased vote from the Existing players.
   

PART VII : Deciding draft order

1. The process of deciding the draft order will be different every year.
   1. Every year process will get decided in pre-season about draft order.
      
   2. All the players from league will decide a competition or task to decide draft order for Round 1.
      
2. After Round 1, next round’s order will be based on League’s settings.
   
3. Players can decide the trade rules during Round 1 draft order decision process. (If trading is allowed in League’s settings)
   

PART VIII : Deciding Majority and Eradication of Groupism

1. Any topic must get 6 or more votes to finalize it as majority
   
2. Players should not form a group and give biased vote in favor of someone
   
3. If voting on topic ends up in tie, the commisioner can use his veto.

PART IX : Schedule

1. League group reactivation: When ESPN/Yahoo activates fantasy league
   
2. Rookie Induction:
   1. 1st June: The invitations to the Rookie candidates should be circulated on the 1st June of every year.
      
   2. 15th June: Deadline for Rookies to apply for the league.
      
   3. 22nd June: Deadline for existing League members to review the applications.
      
   4. Last Sunday of June: The Rookie election day.
      
   5. Last Sunday of June: The  Rookie is notified for entry to the League.
      
3. Draft Order decision Process:
   1. July 1st: Discussion to decide current season’s task/competition starts.
      
   2. July 15th: Deadline to decide the task/competition.
      
   3. First Sunday of August: Deadline to complete the task and draft order
      
4. League Settings:
   1. Second Sunday of August: Deadline for commissioner to set up all the League’s settings:
      1. Roster
         
      2. Scoring
         
      3. Trades
         
      4. Waiver Wire
         
      5. Locktimes
         
      6. Playoffs
         
   2. Third Sunday of August: Deadline for all participants to review and understand all League settings and request voting if  you want to change some settings
      
   3. Last Sunday of August: DRAFT DAY
      

PART X: Electing Commissioner

1. 15th May, every year, the League should engage in process of electing a new commissioner.
   
2. Existing members of the League and the lastly eliminated player get rights to vote for the commissioner election.
   
3. The Alumnus of the League also carries right to vote for the commissioner election. The members of Alumnus do not include Existing players and the lastly eliminated player.
   
4. The vote of the Existing players and lastly eliminated player carries twice of the weight than the Alumnus.
   

PART XI: Conclusion

The purpose of this constitution is to give owner a clear understanding of what is allowed in this league. It is not possible to account every scenario. If an owner is wished to do something that is not explicitly allowed by the rules, he/she should bring the issue to the attention of League Group.
